University is placed #2 in pedagogy Commission's National University Ranking for 2012 within the field of medical and health sciences and #8 altogether universities of Islamic Republic of Pakistan

The university offers collegian and postgraduate level courses in drugs, pharmacy, dentistry, allied health sciences, biomedical engineering and nursing.

·       Status

University of Health Sciences, Lahore was inaugurated by General Pervaiz Musharraf, former president of Pakistan on October 2, 2002. At the University of Health Sciences:
