Introduction
The National University of Sciences and
Technology (Urdu: قومی جامعہ علوم اور صنعت و حرفت, normally noted as NUST) may be a public university with
main field in capital of Pakistan, Pakistan and alternative satellite campuses
in several cities of Asian country. Established in March 1991 primarily for the
promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects, it has
since then expanded through establishing a more comprehensive curriculum
consisting of economics, finance, management and social sciences degrees.The
university is also home to an under-construction International Association of
Science Parks (IASP) certified National Science & Technology Park.
NUST was established in 1991 by merging military and civil
instructional resources. After its development, existing military schools and
colleges became constituent colleges of NUST. The first school to be connected
with NUST was MCS in 1991. In 1993, the university was granted a charter and
CEME and MCE became part of the university. In December 1994 and Nov 1995, CAE
and PNEC became constituents of NUST respectively.

NUST is that the 1st model university established by the
Ministry of Science and Technology like KAIST of peninsula. The student body
consists of 7,000+ students, including 102 international students and 884
postgraduate students. In 2015, quite seventy,000 candidates applied for the
undergraduate program at NUST. NUST has 675 regular utilized college workers

Sector H-12 Campus:

Initiative. It also has a department for career counselling named Centre for
Counselling & Career Advisory (C3A) that helps provide primary mental
health facilities.
· Rawalpindi
Military College of Signals (MCS):
Located on Hamayun Road in Rawalpindi Cantt, it is the
oldest constituent college of NUST, founded in 1947 after the independence of
Pakistan to train the members of Pakistan Armed Forces. The College of
Telecommunication and software system Engineering is found on this field. The
MCS library is processed, with over fifty-five,000 volumes.
· College
of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (CEME):
Located on Grand highway in city, EME is that the largest
constituent school of NUST. The field includes all on-campus facilities, area
and conference hall, accommodation and mess facilities. The library is totally
processed, with a collection of 70,000 volumes.
Sports facilities at EME includes three tennis courts, a
basketball court, a squash court, a badminton court, football ground, cricket
pitch, a swimming pool and two gymnasiums.
· Risalpur
College of Aeronautical Engineering (CAE):
The college includes four departments; part Engineering
Department, astronautics Department, industrial management Department and
Humanities and Sciences Department.
Aerospace Engineering Department has 5 major laboratory’s;
mechanics lab, structure research lab, propulsion and warmth transfer
laboratory, material science lab and numerical analysis lab. Avionics
Department has six labs which include guidance lab, navigation and control
system lab, antenna lab, communication lab, radar, microwave and digital system
lab and embedded system lab.
The field is provided with a library, auditorium,
conference hall, dining facilities and hostel facilities, although more hostel
accommodation is required for a conducive study environment. The college
library features a assortment of eighty,000 technical and reference books.
Sports facilities at the campus include table tennis, badminton, basketball,
tennis, volleyball, football, hockey, swimming, golf and cricket.
· Military
College of Engineering (Pakistan) (MCE):
College of engineering and National Institute of

· Karachi
